Nor apparently do many of the majors anymore? Capital is almost entirely gone from the sector. This is what the Depression in 1932 must have felt like. I wonder if the returns of mining here are really that poor though? Once a mine gets put in place this one should generate solid profitable cash flows. Since there is a whole prolific district, the surprises would be to the plus side.

Obviously a planning and development exercise of this magnitude should be passed to a larger company. Will buyers step up and will the seller(s) cut their asking prices? That's the 64 K question. I think there are some deals coming soon, and even at wholesale prices, investors should be well rewarded from these ultra depressed prices.
