Tekboy,

um, Mike, can we chip in and get you a calculator?

Please do. The battery cover has been missing on my HP12C financial calculator for years. :)

The explanation of the discrepancy between the pre-split and post-split prices has to with rounding. If you, ahem, take the time to determine the exact dates to be used for the start of each companies' tornados, the pre-split stock prices on those dates, and how those translate to the post-split stock prices, I'll send YOU the calculator. Pennies aren't divisible. When you multiply rounded pennies by tens of thousands of percentages, you get rounding errors to the magnitude of tens of dollars.

Let me know when I should send the calculator. :)
