Gore proves that ANY tactic is fair game. I encourage Bush to beg, borrow and steal votes, stuff ballots, bribe judges - whatever it takes to disinfect the Corrupt Fungus known as Clinton/Gore.

When you say:

"With many circumstances like this happening all over Florida I think that Al Gore and private citizens should use the letter of the law to make sure this election was legal."

You are contradicting your party's position. The letter of the law said the recounts must be completed within one week. You can't say that they are following the letter of the law, or this silly process would be over. Another point on this is that the dems say the MAIN law to follow is the "will of the people." Al Gore is staying away from the Seminole thing because even HE knows it is hypocritical because the will of the people is NOT IN DOUBT in the Seminole County case.

When you say:

"whole state of FLorida is looking like a shameful election sham by the Republican Party"

What specifically do you mean? I would like to debate the point that the Repubs are making it a "sham", but you just saying it doesn't make it so. Please explain your reasons for believing this.

FYI, the Mayor of Miami spoke on tv last night regarding your point:

"Some of these laws that were broken were instituted a couple years ago because of rampant fraud in the absentee ballots............a Republican stronghold."

He (the Mayor) was the beneficiary of that process, but pointed out that his case was COMPLETELY different because there was fraud involved. It went through every layer of the court system in Florida including the FLSC and all concurred that fraud was involved. By the way, it (the fraud) was perpetrated by the democrats. IF there was fraud in Seminole county the courts should be able to figure it out. I hope there was not, and will bet that even the lowest court (where it is now) will not throw the votes out.

I DO NOT claim that the Republican party has never done anything wrong or has no faults. But, their position in general of self sufficiency and smaller government appeals to me. When you look at things historically (at least in my lifetime) the repubs have a much better record than the demos regarding lying and cheating. We can compare if you would like, but I think it is pretty funny that the example of fraud you used was an example of the dem's dirty tricks.
