I think we will run into month end I sure hope you're right! IMO it will take a lowering of the interest rates or a bias towards neutral, or a concession by Gore to turn this market around. "The wealth effect" is definitely gone! I thought I might buy a new car this year...but right now my old one looks just fine! (My black labs "vote" to keep the old car...it's perfect for errand trips where they're included!) Actually...I think they "voted" several times to keep the old car!!! If this Nasdaq slide continues, quite a few people who have paid estimated taxes during this year will be receiving tax refunds instead of paying more taxes in April 2001.
