Jim That's like saying the market is tanking because of more sellers than buyers... Of course the mutual funds are having to sell stocks because they need the cash to pay off the fundholders... That's because most tech stock held by funds are being hit with reductions in earnings and price reductions for next year. When the dust settles with the election we may be able to see if the underlying reasons for the sell off but right now, whenever Gore opens his mouth the market tanks...by dashing the hope of a final resolution of the election. I am going to assume you trade based purely on TA because otherwise the above comment makes no sense. I too have see the market tank when Gore starts talking...I have to conclude that traders are sitting by a button, ready to push it and sell their portfolio, right when Gore gets on the tube. Of course, I have seen the market tank when Bush gets on the tube. Oh, and I have seen the market tank when neither are on the tube. The only thing consistent it all of this garbage is that lately the market tanks a lot.......what is that telling us? Hmmmmm, the market is going to hell in a handbasket? Sounds good to me. ted
