are you saying that the election of jeb bush & the appointment of the SOS were improper or fraudulent?

I am not saying that. I think they are both probably fine people. However, when circumstances put them in a position where an appearance of impropriety arises, they should recuse themselves from the decision-making process, not because they are likely to do something dishonest, but because it will make the rest of us have more confidence in the outcome.

Talk to me about Hillary Clinton running the healthcare task force.

Hillary's role in that fiasco was disastrous for the administration. There are some clear differences between that situation and the present one, but conceding the point for purposes of discussion, why would Bush want to step into the same quagmire?
