Tirex Announcement

MONTREAL, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ - The Tirex Corporation (OTCBB-TXMC), the
developer of a patented cryogenic tire recycling system announced today that
the Company does not have under consideration a reverse stock split. In
response to inquires by various stockholders and to clarify for all
stockholders the Company's position, CEO and President John L. Threshie Jr.
stated that the Company's Board of Directors is not adopting any resolution
recommending a reverse stock split and Management has not proposed that the
Board take such action. Further, Tirex' Management and Company Counsel
acknowledges a reverse stock split cannot be effectuated by a Board of
Director's resolution, in any event, as it requires stockholder approval. Thus
adequate prior notice to stockholders would have to be given, which the
Company has not done, has no plans to do at this time, and, Mr. Threshie
concluded that any rumors suggesting that the Company had taken any action
regarding a reverse stock split are simply incorrect.
