"some guy in the sky, I guess, who cares about your money"

no way. he's some guy who cares about football teams winning and baseball players hitting home runs and boxers having the strength to beat the crap out of their opponents.

I was thinking more in terms of his commentary regarding the damage that algore is inflicting upon this country just to satisfy his need to be king.

As to his perspective on divine intervention and guidance, suffice it to say that I take a more pragmatic view:

A priest, minister and rabbi meet to discuss their views on how to apportion donations from their respective congregations. The priest leads off with his methodology.

"I draw a three foot diameter circle on the floor. From the middle of the circle, I throw the donations straight up into the air. What lands inside the circle I keep, and the rest goes into the general fund to do God's work."

The minister nods appreciatively, and shares "I use a similar method. However, in my case, I keep the money that lands outside of the circle, while that landing inside the circle goes to God."

The rabbi snorts, and chimes in. "I too use a similar yet different method. I also stand in a three foot circle and throw the donations into the air. What God wants, he keeps.....".
