You are having trouble with the concept that we are a representative republic. We elect people to positions of responsibility and leave them to exercise their judgement. Will- One of the reasons our representative republic has lasted for well over 200 years is that we have developed a system for holding our elected officials accountable more than just once every 2,4,6 or whatever years. It is hard to believe that you really advocate letting elected persons do whatever mischief they want during their terms and booting them out only when they are up for re-election. Frank
