Wayne, According to the guy who invented the Votamatic, the programming in Florida was very voter unfriendly. Was it an accident? Probably. But, once again, it would be a lot less suspicious if it weren't in the hands of the winner's little brother. And the delays his campaign manager threw at every recount helped the counties miss the deadlines, though I don't think they would have made it even if there had been a totally neutral govt. in place.

I do not believe in counting dimples. Partially poked out, yeah. Also, I believe that you have to be fairly liberal with servicemen's votes. They are supposed to be witnessed by an officer. When I was in the service, I wouldn't go near an officer if I didn't have to. It tended to lead to harrassment about my hair or the shine on my shoes. Of course, for the most part, I was also too young to vote, so it didn't matter much. Die for my country, old enough. <g> O.K., I guess there wasn't really a lot of danger in those cozy rooms on the Reeperbahn, but I have to pretend that I did something during the war. <g>
