OT David,

If Miami Dade finishes counting and you include Palm Beach, Gore maybe gains a 200 vote lead overall, and that is using the liberal practices that Broward employed and Miami Dade was employing. Those counties represent almost 1/3 of Florida and the majority of the Democratic dominated precincts, I think they would find 200 votes in the Republican precincts. Just counting the legitimate Military ballots will get that, weren't 300 thrown out in Palm Beach alone?

Also keep in mind of the 3 counties Gore requested counts, Miami Dade had the smallest margin for Gore (Approx. 30,000 vote margin out of 600k+ ballots). Some have suggested that Bush could pick up net votes in that county.

I hate to analyze this thing down to the littlest detail, but that is what is happening. It is a never ending battle that would finish with the same result.

I believe California is going to try to convert to a computer touch screen voting process as was tested in Orange County for this election. As long as they can maintain the integrity and security of the election data, it would work fairly well and reduce the number of mistakes. Maybe we should use the surplus to improve the integrity and accuracy of our elections? <g> Take care.
