Yes, and I'm sorry here and now. I don't need or want some panacea that cures all my ills or sins in the future. That is my job here on Earth - to learn and find my own truth and to cure my spirit's ills. The thing that bothers me about the Christian hardliners is that a multiple serial killer who finds Christ is ahead of me in line to heaven. Hooey, I say.

They are, I suspect, trapped at this plane of existence. You can't move ahead until you learn your lessons. Hell is here on Earth, my friend. It is of your own making. Heaven, OTH, is also the recognition of a spiritual "job-well-done" and it too is here on Earth. Maybe elsewhere too, but who knows...

By grace, I mean the non-religious meaning of perfection. The theological definition of 8.2 also works. However, one is limited in many ways by one's genetics, though that too may be part of the "lesson". I quote this because I consider it a speculative notion and only a working theory that I have (pending more data).
