twf, the recent crash of the naz would definitely offset some of the stimulatory impact of a tax cut. i understand the trickle down theory. it appears to me that it has the same force as a trickle up theory - but the lobbyists didn't pimp that concept ;-) i believe reagan's economic policies were net negative b/c he put the cart in front of the horse - he couldn't stop massive spending growth.

now we are sitting on a pile of... debt. the first $4,000 in taxes an avg family pays now goes to interest on the debt. that's bank. let's eliminate the debt and give everyone a "free" $4k tax break.

the bottom line is that very little of anything will happen, imho.
