Beat me to it. This is an excellent article. Makes a good case for BMC as a value play, yet doesn't attempt to candy-coat anything. Anyone notice the seeming contradiction in statements about IBM's G7 mainframe: statement 1 - "the next big wave of BMC mainframe software sales is expected to come as a result of the new IBM G7 mainframe, just beginning to roll out now." statement 2 - "The IBM G7, originally scheduled to hit the market this quarter, has been delayed until June 2001..." What gives? Is the G7 out now or not? -John
