The were morally flawed. They understood this. The US constitution was written by men who saw men as bent towards evil and thus in need of restraint. It is unfortunate that it took an ammendment to codify the obvious in law. It is fortunate that they provided us a framework for dealing with consitutional injustice. No not an activist court. The amendment.

It should be greatly debated. What matters in not what one believes, but what is true. The followers of Jim Jones believed lies. Oh the days when intelligent men could debate ideas instead of yelling or just saying "well if that works for you."

Biblical faith was never meant to be a mushy feeling that you either have or don't. It was meant to be based on reason and truth. Without which, Biblical faith is meaningless, as is all of life.
