KM -- GTW: No doubt. Jenna and I had a conversation about precisely that issue some weeks ago -- the risks of taking on the expense of this retail buildout and overhead. The truly depressing thing about GTW's story right now is that they've built these stores and have put a lot of resources into developing the retail channel, and yet suffered this shortfall because holiday demand just isn't there. It's scary to see this heavy investment in retail right at the end of the most overwhelming consumption cycle in human history. We all know the consumer orgy has to come to an end sooner rather than later -- the level of consumer debt makes that obvious -- but it looks like GTW is learning it the hard way.

I agree Kevin, remember CompUAdd, I think that was the name. They started out in mail order and decided to open stores. I thought maybe GTW would have a shot of making it though, but with computers getting so cheap off the shelf, made GTW seem pretty high in cost for what you get.

Uh Oh, I'm rambling.......

SDLI is my newest longer term 'put' play. BRCD is going to be down that is certain but how much is anyone's guess. I did not hold anything short or long through, I had my fill with three option puts but if tomorrow turns out brutal, with a put you don't need an uptick. However My strategy now is not shorting the ones that were severed, decapitated but rather those that sit and remain relatively unscathed. I waited for CIEN and except for a blip this morning it was an easy ride, now SDLI will be my "Horse Whisperer" and my next goal is to tame that wild, unfettered stallion back into a nice controllable pack mule.
