Frankly, I think he would get more done than Bush. Look at Clinton who has achieved a lot the past 6 years with a Republican Congress. Clinton has been very successful in getting increased funding for his priorities in the Budget. Clinton has used the bully pulpit so that a majority in the country favor HMO reform with a right to sue and medicare prescription drug benefit and increased minimum wage and more land in protected areas. Gore could do the same type of things even with Congressional opposition.
