CAtechTrader - congratulations on "post of the day." Your point about "no need to upgrade from 500 MHz speed computer to a faster than 500 MHz one" ...

is so obvious, that I was trying to come up with possible explanations as to why Wall Street professionals are so shocked when this "no upgrade-a-roonie" thing started showing up.

1. No one on Wall Street actually uses a computer enough to understand what real computer users want or need.

2. Wall Streeters get a new computer (at work) frequently, paid for by "the firm" (actually paid for by our commissions and margin interest "spead"), so they think real computer users must get new computers all the time.

3. I dunno.

Jon.
