Re. Unfortunately for Ms. Harris, her role in this whole thing and the subsequent bad publicity has probably made it impossible for W to appoint her to anything.

A NYTimes columnist commented that she might still get the appointment of Ambassador to the Bahamas, but nothing more glamorous than that. However, she probably has her sights on the Court of St. James, or something of that order.
