Actually, I think it had more to do with Prozac reaching usage penetration levels of nearly 15 percent of the US population.

Folks on that stuff can watch a 20 car pile-up and keep a smile on their face.

good point...or as someone put it during the impeachment proceedings: the polls showed people cared more about the Dow Jones than about Paula Jones.
imo Bush has clearly won the PR side of things by now, not least because the market shows a preference for Shrubs. also, he looks like the more restrained, and thus more 'presidential' of the two. actually with hindsight i think we can already state that his post election tactics were a winner. funny enough, it's highly likely that people will find out once the impasse is resolved that it wasn't about the election after all...the market would have sunk anyway.

>>Al Gore is personally KILLING (burning) this country<<

...while Clinton fiddles..
...and the media as usual suppresses outrage...

I'd sure like to see a bunch of military interviewed and polled on the clown stations. At least when they get called in for Mike's TL & EV, they won't want to work for Clinton/Gore. Imagine what could be done with ONE honest news station. Please Mr. Buffet if you're listening, can you spare a billion or two? <g>
