I was referring to the extent of the decline in the Nasdaq this year vs. the SPX in 73-74, and the fact that today's Nifty Fifty are finally getting clipped. I don't expect that the SPX and INDU will repeat their 73-74 performance here; I think the economy is (so far) fundamentally different. Thanks for pointing that out; most investors today don't know that you used to buy stocks when the market hit a PE of 8 and sold them when it hit 13.
