Hi Mephisto,

I'm not certain, but I think a vote-a-matic is a metal or plastic rig that has the slot & posts for the punch-card ballot. You insert the ballot so it lines up in the slot with the posts, then bingo!!!! you press the stylus for your candidate-of-choice.

Pretty high-tech eh????
