is that tech, or dotcom? I heard (late last week maybe) with one ear that a dotcom show was cancelled for lack of interest. Not sure who was sponsoring it or where.

It is Merrill and they did cancel a combined dot com and tech conference due to lack of interest. The official statement to their clients was they were going to reschedule when the environment was better. This conference I believe was focused mostly on internet techs too.
