Well, Cheryl, I think part of the issue is people believing that no matter what "the internet changes everything" and "in the New Economy, the old rules don't apply."

The stock market has been down this road many a time over the past 150 or so years, with the same results.

Methinks we've been spoiled by Easy Al's easy 1998 and 1999 injections into the money supply. Now he's having to make up for last year's Y2K paranoia.

In the 80's and 90's, if I recall correctly, SUNW grew at quite a nice clip... in some years over 40% YoY. So, what law of economics dictates that the P/E's now should be radically different from the P/E's historically when there were similar eps growth projections?

BTW, GTW news blasted SUNW down to the 75's AH, along with many others taking similar hits.

Not that GTW folk are any particular geniuses, but their comments on future growth rates bear attention.

I sold SUNW @ 88-1/2 and am watching for re-entry in the low 60's. We will likely get there b/4 this mess is over.
