Remember that, just as we all thought the highs were in long before they ever were, the ultimate low for this will be far lower than any of us really believes. Except maybe Luc, of course. And wasn't somebody projecting Naz 500 a few days back?

I really expected a bounce of significance once we retraced all the blowoff in Naz, which is why I covered some today. However, I think somewhere around 2200 is a more likely target for the launch of a bear market rally.

The next bear market is going to be the really ugly, long, painful one. That's where the economy tanks, the financial games all unwind, and the redemptions flow. That's when we the Nineties Nikkei impression will become really obvious.
