Don, I am talking long term not short term.
I did exaggerate when I said "no affect", but far less than exaggeration than Richard and Jim who think Gore is 100% to blame.

Furthermore, I am not saying that Gore VS Bush does not have an affect, I am saying the UNCERTAINTY surrounding this event is not as much to blame as evaluation scares, earning scares, fears of recession, etc etc etc.

I believe the markets will rally after Bush steals the thing, but that this rally will be short lived, and until earnings come in line with slowing growth, a recession, and the deficit, along with whatever nonsense Greenspan does, that this "Gore" affect is indeed minimal.

For the sake of argument, 15-20% of the market problem is the election uncertainty. Once either of them is elected, the markets will proceed on course with what they were going to do.

Does this make any sense?
If not I would like to hear your view.
Thanks.
