Scumbria, I happened to catch a bit of sardonic old Florida hand Carl Hiaasen talking on NPR today. Drolly amusing. He mentioned how W's brother Jeb had whined about the Florida Supreme Court decision being written in legalese, asked if Jeb wanted it in crayon or something. How are judges supposed to write? He also pointed out, for the sake of the numerous Republican whiners about lawyers, that Jeb had recently signed off on 2 new law schools for Florida. W's got Jeb, the Florida legislature, Congress, and legions of lockstep bloviating right wing pundits to back him up, so the judges probably won't matter that much. But what will the righteous right whine about then? Cheers, Dan.
