Hi Mark:

For NTRO products, spectrum licenses are already
in place. The issue is who will be buying the
gear (of the big 4 fixed wireless companies at >20Ghz,
ARTT and TGNT are very sick).

with the ongoing evolution of wireless access, i tend to agree with bernard on ntro for now...before, i had high hopes for this company but now i do not...spectrum licensing fees are being auctioned off in the billions...but the biggest risk to netro, teligent and winstar imo is the coming of wireless optics...co's like optical access, terabeam and airfiber will offer gigabit services at 1/10th the cost of underground fiber...these co's will deploy using either point to multipoint or mesh network...optical access will be the first to ipo prob. in january...they should help alleviate last mile prob's...i have started a thread on optical access if u are interested.
