49% is hardly what I call a majority.

But 57% calling for Gore to concede is definitely what I call a majority. A good portion of that 57% were former Gore supporters as well.

You have no idea how the US Constitution works - the basic law of our land.

First - THE PEOPLE don't elect the President - not by ANY VOTE - MAJORITY or OTHERWISE .

The ELECTORAL COLLEGE elects a President.

Read the damn Constitution - then you'll know what a STUPID STATEMENT you made.

By the way - the Constitution was written 208+ years ago - and the Electoral College system has been in operation for all of those 208+ years.
