Hi, haqi....Just offering something other than the usual political argument, for fun and profit. Oddly enough, Aristotle believed that the universe had always existed, pretty much as it is now. Aquinas thought that the philosophical arguments were so compelling that the only reason to believe that the universe had a beginning was because Scripture said so. By the way, Galileo was particularly shaken from Aristotelianism by telescope, when he looked at the moon and discovered how imperfect its surface was.......
