Here, from my calculations and research, are the numbers
for Rational's free cash flow Q by Q for 1Q99 to 2Q00
(*please* verify these for yourselves):

Q FCF
--------------
1Q99 9,174
2Q99 21,844
3Q99 34,470
4Q99 97,721
1Q00 47,628
2Q00 27,753

I have used data from the 10Q's and the 10K to compute:
Free Cash Flow =
Net Cash Provided By Operating Activities
+
(Net Capital Expenditures) (negative number)

"Net Capital Expenditures" same here as "Acquisition of
Property and Equipment"

The 4Q99 FCF looks out of line, but I cannot see the
reason, if there is one, right now.
