yeah yeah. And they didn't need no stinking ex post facto laws to do it.

I really think Gore's win at the FSSC was a disaster for them and their 'astute' lawyers. They are able to contest the election results, but dammit, the Dec. 12th law is in place. And after Gore bad mouthing the SC Justices in his campaign, I do not see this thing being put off any longer.

The law is clear. If the SOS was a Democrat, she could refuse to ceritfy. But the SOS is Republican. So she can certify. That is that. There is no if's buts or in betweens.

She certified.

Next step, contest.

Well, Bush's lawyers are allowing for contest, and manual recount. So this count the votes crap is just that, pure manure. But they are delaying it, just like any good lawyer would.
