Just what is it you see that made this economy ? I see the lowering of taxes in the 80's and the breakup of the Soviet Union as the catalyst. Other than raising gas taxes (a direct attack on those who could least afford it) just what are the policies that you refer to. If governments make economies than the Soviets should have been the greatest economy because they were nothing but government. I see these years as beyond the bubble of Washington. I see it as the American entrepreneur having an incredible period that staggered the world.
