All I know is what I read. Old man Joe Kennedy helped make the deal. I guess he thought that Illinois would make the difference. It was reported that, if elected, JFK would lay off investigations of mob activities. When Bobby went after them anyway, Sinatra almost got his ticket punched because of the double cross. I didn't make this stuff up. It would serve no useful purpose to do so. ~H~
