Of course he can. People are blaming everything and anything on whatever candidate for whom they did not vote. It's called the "bias effect".

There is no irony. I really believe people are so glued to the election or are scared of a slowdown because of it, that they haven't started looking for big ticket items yet.
Didn't Gateway say holiday sales were slow...well here in the USA, the holidays started about a week ago...right after thanksgiving...So Gateway must really see some dead sales to make a statement like that...

Didn't the same thing happen in Europe about the time the gas crisis hit a few months ago and the truckers struck and blocked the highways...
