No big deal today. Like I said last night, YOU CAN'T GET BLOOD OUT OF A TURNIP.

They take the market down initially about 100 to 150 points and then bring us back mildly later in the day and we rally somewhat tomorrow.

Finish today around 2600.

FEAR BOTTOM WILL BE PUT IN TODAY

limtex....in reality, regardless of what gtw states, the only product they manufacture is pc based devices....they are more like an aapl....all others dell, hwp, cpq, ibm, etc, have offerings that are not pc based, such as high end servers, storage, etc....

gtw has added to revenues with services such as internet...but gtw has a heavy burden with its company stores...all others in the consumer market except dell use independent sales channels...

gtw recently offered their 1.4ghz 128rdram 60mb drive 19 monitor dvd cdrw package on qvc....a slight departue, which indicates them stretching their sales and marketing

pc business has been very competitive...

today will be a telling day...watch stocks as intc, wcom, csco, that traded yesterday in a narrow range with volume...after hours they sold off in sympathy with gtw and altr...if they open slightly down to flat, and close in a narrow to up point with volume, then this is a good basing/bottoming indicator....if you noticed after hours trades in these issues they sold down on retail trades, but bounced up on block trades.....

if this scenario unfolds it will clearly state the market has the ability to discern company specific bad news from overall bad news.....it may take a few days to stabilize, but as i have been stating, many issues are close to the bottom.....

best regards....
