I will try to do at least a broad brush job. If the methodology is sound, the approximate answer should be simple to explain and simple to think about. By assuming the boomer to retire in 2010, figure he will be 55, the front edge of the boomers, able to sell his house to somebodyelse. Question: on anecdote evidence, is the market affecting folks at the work place (i.e. water fountain talk, sneak peek on line at the market, phone calls to the broker?). In HK, during extra bad and good market days, not much work gets done.
