At least Bush is smart enough to have beaten Gorp so you do have something to be thankful for.

rajaggs, I don't know what affirmative action means in Canada. In America affirmative action has meanings and the variation of the accepted meaning is not like a couple of varities of apples. The difference is more like difference between an apple and a dog. The clearest way to explain the Republican position is the say the Republican position is that quotas are not acceptable in trying to implement affirmative action. What President Elect Bush said was the honest simple clear and direct position of the Republican's on affirmative action. The statement was the simple truth, whole truth, the clear truth and nothing but the truth. Yes a liberal will make fun of something because they have to make it complicated when it is clearly black and white.

Change entirely the subject and focus like your last post trying to look smart and imply I had made a mistake in the way you worded it. You and I know that you were doing the same dishonest thing on units that Gore was doing on the affirmative action issue. Sore just kept harping on the same thing over and over and Bush had given the clear answer. Sore was just too dishonest or stupid to acknowledged the clearly delineated difference on the meaning of affirmative action. But the tone portrayed would lead the simplistic to think Bush was not understanding when the reality was that Sore was not understanding or using sophistry to make it look like the duck was not a duck.

I see your raising of this issue as just one more example of the argument's of those of limited understanding. Simplicity of a statement is a clear indicator of the total honesty of the statement. Those with common sense see the truth. Reducing a complex issue to a simple black and white difference is brilliant. Liberals see confusion in simplicity because they just don't get it or not being able to argue the facts they phrase the argument to attack or reduce the perception of the messenger of simplicity which is truth.

Again, this is perfectly shown in your units post where you were attempting to imply a total false situation. You had lost on the facts and you were handwaving other facts and implying something that was not true.
