Rocky - RE: The Market selling action today could be mainly because of tax-related selling because this is the last day you can sell and avoid the Wash Rule. Jan 1 2001 should be a big buying day. I think this is the bottom and December we'll start heading up. No - Nov. 28 was the last day to sell and buy back before the end of the year. Dec. 30 and 31 fall on Sat. and Sun., so Dec. 29 is the last day to buy back stock sold Nov. 28. (And Jan. 1 is a market holiday, so make that Jan. 2 as a buying day.)
