Dot-com firms top list for November CEO departures
NEW YORK, Nov 30 (Reuters) - Chief executive departures rose 59 percent in November to 111, led by the dot-com sector, according to a report released by recruitment firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas Inc. on Thursday.

One of the most difficult parts of design is removing one self from belief acting as empty shell and absorbing only what is being presented to you. From present information you form future. Pebbles form avalanches.

IOW, is it "their" decision to make?

As I'm sure you know, it is a constant battle to lead your clients and partners to the right decision in terms of what is in their best interest. I remember a photographer stating to me years ago that the hard part of taking pictures wasn't the challenges presented by the subject matter but that in 90% of the situations the client has diminished the job before you even show up. How true those words turned out to be. The client or partner brings you in to create value in an area where you have expertise and then proceeds to throw up road blocks to your being able to do the job at hand. If @Home can't rise to the challenge of overcoming these MSO road blocks, then they deserve to die. You have to use all your powers of subterfuge to lead your customer or partner down the right path because it is what they hired you do. You don't allow yourself to be lulled into, "Well, we gave them what they wanted." kind of thinking. You are going to make them succeed in spite of their efforts to screw the whole thing up with their limited protectionist thinking.
