I understand, and supposed it was more innocuous. I never became a sci- fi/fantasy fan, but when I was 18, a friend dragged me to a convention, where I met Harlan Ellison, Isaac Asimov, and L. Sprague de Camp, among a few others. I did enjoy Roger Zelazny's "Lord of Light" and a couple of his "Amber" books, and, of course, I have read some of the classics, from writers like Verne and Welles to Asimov and Heinlein. Probably my favorite sci- fi novel is "A Canticle for Leibowitz".........
