I agree with you about the opportunity for Q in the W-CDMA chip set area, but on a slightly different line.

Right now Q clanks up a big zero for 80% of the world cell phone market (GSM & TDMA). It does pretty well in its own little 20%.

Within two years a market 4 times as large, and expanding, will open up to Qualcomm that it has no access to at the current time. It remains to be seen how much of this enlarged market Q will take, but I think we have come to a reasonable conclusion that it will be substantial.

Is there another 60 Billion dollar company with a market opportunity this good? It does not take a big stretch of the imagination to see 100% growth rates once W-CDMA becomes functional.
