In my opinion if the election was the problem we would see the DOW also cratering and that is not the case. The DOW has hung around between 10k and 11k most of the year. I posted back in February that I thought the NAS could use a 2k correction. It's pretty clear to me that this is simply the healthy unwinding of the bubble, perhaps hastened to some extent by a slowing economy. Yes, Compaq is down, but look at the percentage moves on the 'hotter stocks' in comparison! Well, got to run now, I just heard a flash that O.J. is on the run again, there appear to be helicopters tracking a Ryder truck followed by a bunch of police cars on a Florida highway <ggg>.
