Great points UB. Yes, a bounce for me at this point would be something that might hold for, say, a week. I am hardly thinking about a bottom that will hold for weeks yet. I expect old-econ to rollover soon as earnings warnings and other factors become overwhelming for that side. You are correct, this is no time to be talking about investing and that is implicit in my posts and most of the posts on this board.
