IMO, your criticism of WLY is overly harsh. He wouldn't have been fiddling with deleting PC files if it weren't necessary to correct some of QCharts' ills. So, in his ignorance of PC internals, he picked the wrong file. No QCharts user should be required to know that level of detail in order to use the product.

great reply Michael.

no way QC or any vendor can make an application idiot proof. leading edge technology is bleeding edge technology. take the bad w/ the good or take off is what i say.

Michael,

If I wanted a response from you I would have posted my message to you.

Yes, I am just a stupid Jackass. What I should have written is that I deleted my ContinuumClient.ini file (as suggested in the proper daily procedure)and not my continuumclient.dll However, I was reading from the default message and neglected to make the proper change.

NO, it has ZERO percent to do with what I do. I use a high speed modem to make sure I have the bandwidth and checked the Internet traffic report.

My Download speed is 1.5Mbps and the Internet traffic was running around 53 the average.

I have done everything that has been suggested to get this program to run the way it is suppose to run.

My main criticism is the missed deadlines, workarounds that don't work and the "it ain't our fault the Internet is slow" or "it is your ISP's fault"

I trade with several hundred people and can tell the difference between my problem and 50 people all writing "does anyone have a QC server that is working now" or "QC dead here anyone else" and then the reps for QC acting like it is an isolated problem.

If QC wants to put someone else’s face here to take responsibility for this mess, I would be more than happy to rip them a new one.

Good Day
