No. But in a relatively recent span of time, the following things happened:

1) AMD announced a new chipset
2) SiS announced their first time support, we got our first review of the chipset this week and it is at least decent from a performance/stability standpoint.
3) ALi announced their first time support, we got our first review of the chipset this week and it is at least decent from a performance/stability standpoint.
4) Duron got integrated chipset support from VIA (finally!)
5) Micron released details on their Athlon chipset plans for 2001.
6) API was announced to be readying a dual chipset in early 2001.
7) nVidia's chipsets is reportedly planned to visit the AMD platforms before the Intel platforms.

I'd say that's a lot better infrastructure story than the previous state, which was
1) AMD has a chipset which they're phasing out
2) VIA is making barely compatible chipsets and is advancing their Intel platforms before anything else.
