We had a rally going the night that Bush was elected. The futures soared and pointed to a huge gain. That is an historical fact. The market fears a Gore presidency because he is perceived as a radical environmentalist.
Whether that rally and a Bush presidency would have sustained itself is now pure speculation. At this point the market is doomed and perhaps it may take years to recover

Tiger off topic.. adi is trading again down at 45. This is a company that makes parts for telecom products and not for PC's. It's price is getting sucked down on the gateway news. PC's is a saturated market, but more man more broadband and more wireless data product will continue even in recession as tools that make communication more efficient create poductivity gains and will continue to grow.

I also see mips or mipsb as good buys. Mips makes micro's licenses processor cores and has a license revenue model. Mips precessor and cores are for products that support Internet expansion and are not used in PC's.

Sore and Loserman are still dirtbags.
