Natural Gas Hits All-time High
by Gofer Broke
Nov 30 8:88pm ET

CALGARY(CanadaSnoozwire) - In New York , January natural gas jumped 40.8 cents, or 6.6%, to U$6.589 per million British thermal units. It hit an intraday high of U$6.73, above the previous all-time high of U$6.62 set on Nov. 22.

The higher price increased the side-ways momentum of Canadian natural gas producers. Highlights included Berkley Petroleum(BKP) down $0.10 to $6.90, Paramount Res.(POU) down $0.05 to 15.25, and Westminster Res.(WML) up $0.10 to $2.10.

Hopes that former tech-investors with cash on the sidelines would buy oil & gas stocks were dashed. In an exclusive Snoozwire survey it was determined that tech-investors had trouble understanding arcane oil & gas industry terminology such as:

"P/E" - "OK, I know P, but what the hey is E? and what's that slash thingee about?"
"CF" - "No clue dude, I'm buying the dip on ETYS, no old economy chit for me"
"RoE" - "Who cares? How could Certicom go down! They posted great numbers! It's those brokers pushing it down so they can get it cheaper. They're not getting my shares! Bummer man!"
