Hi Chip,

You may be right about a global slow down, but specific groups will not go out of business or out of vogue as the business cycle turns, and some emerging and international groups are holding their own right here... some groups are actually doing well in this market environment, we need to remember that this is not a stock market as much as it is a market of stocks and stocks of varying groups..... we have to be very selective, but money can be made in this environment..... still, I think we can see a better than expected rally after the election thing is behind us... all I'm really suggesting here is that we may be very near an excellent buying opportunity and I feel pretty comfortable adding a bit at a time at these levels..... right now, I'm about 35% invested from when I began buying about two weeks ago having been in 100% cash since 12/31/99.....<g> I think a longer term view and patience is the key here, it's always best to buy when everyone is talking about how terrible things are.....BWDIK
