Steve, not at all. over the past 12 months, the telcos ALONE have issued almost $600 bn. in fresh debt (it may be more by now actually). while it is true that many new smaller tech outfits have mostly gotten equity capital, their customers are all deeply in the hock. remind me after trading today and i'll provide you a few links to data on the growth of debt in the economy...the figures are absolutely mind-boggling, i assure you.
